My inspiration comes from the beauty of the Scottish landscape, intertwined with a sense of belonging and family. Questioning perceptions of beauty and the feminist theme of body image in modern media is another of my interests.
My expertise lies in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking. Using these media singly or combining these technicques with skill and aesthetic sensibility. Since graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Drawing and Painting in 1983 I have been exhibiting Artist. Currently lecturing Contemporary Fine Art at Forthvalley College, I have recently reduced my teaching commitment to focus on my Personal work.

My work has been included in many juried exhibitions such as RGI, SSA, PAI the Meffan Institute, North Ayrshire Open and VAS.
