Lisa Pettersson
Lisa Pettersson grew up in Sweden before moving to London in 1995 to study at the Chelsea college of Art. She continued to study art in London and then Cardiff, graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in Fine Art in 1999. In 2001 she completed an advanced diploma in Graphic Design, at Telford College, Edinburgh, where she continues to live. Lisa exhibits regularly around the country and beyond and her drawings, paintings and mixed media work can be found in private collections in the UK, Sweden, Holland, France, USA, Brazil, Vietnam, Australia and Hong Kong.
Much of her work engages with ideas of home and belonging, with familiar overlaps between the Scottish landscape, and the rural Sweden of her childhood.
