My paintings strive to give a more textual observation of the landscape.

During my time at Glasgow School of Art, I also studied embroidery and weaving for one year, under the guidance of Chrissie White and Hannah Frew Patterson. This has had a major influence on the way I paint. While for the most part I use conventional paint media, in some cases I integrate various mediums, textile and stitch work.
