"As an abstract expressionist painter, my work allows me a vital, expressive voice where I can communicate my thoughts and feelings.

I am influenced by life in all its complicated, messy, beautiful glory.  My work interprets memories of landscape, place and emotions through bold, intuitive painting.

Each painting is an emerging process, I often discover things by accident and then let this dictate the direction of the piece.  I always listen to music...this is vital for the energy and mood of the painting.  The process is fundamentally the most important part for me."
