Anne Butler
Anne Butler is an artist living and working in Scotland. Anne began painting after studying at Leith School of Art. Anne's works are emotive and convey an often abstract landscape. To her colour is more important than form and this motif is seen throughout her artwork.
Anne states:
“I paint in layers, laying paint over paint and scraping back. This scraping back technique to reveal the colours underneath is a process that many other artists (perhaps most famously Turner) have used."
