Collection: Abstract Art

Abstract art conjures a feeling, or atmosphere, with such distinctness and precision. Going beyond recognisable forms lends some artists who work in abstraction a certain freedom that translates in their work. Others use abstraction to explore form, play with colour, and expand our understanding of the world. We're proud to represent some of the finest contemporary abstract painters and sculptors, from Davy Brown, Stephen Smith in Scotland to artists from elsewhere in the UK like Celia Wilkinson and Matthew Bourne.
